Tools to mute the noise and empower
Since the digital channels are growing, so is the need for different deliverables. This can end up in a lot of repetitive work. I am creating solutions to stay on pace, make sure my team can thrive in their roles and learn new skills by lowering the bar and taking the fear of taking on new responsibilities. Here are some tools that have been proven efficient.
Project Bento
A smart library right inside of After Effects that lets you import Templates created by our Senior Motion Designers.
Perfect for repetitive campaigns that need a couple of tweaks instead of a full re-design.
Our Designers can use this tool, taking ownership of BAU tasks, which frees up time from our Motion Team.
Advanced tagging and filtering also make searching for the correct channel/ asset a breeze.
The UI, built from a single Google Drive folder, is also editable by the admins without the interference of re-coding for maximum flexibility.
Project Snowball
Project Snowball was born from the urge to localise thousands of assets from single primaries. Since Just Eat has so many Company names and languages to support, this is a crucial tool to automate the “data wrangling” - making manual input redundant.
What took 3 Motion Designers 3 Weeks in 2022 can now be done by one Motion Designer in 1 day. This is the power of using data the right way.
With the power of .csv files to import into After Effects, Campaign input can be a self-serve tool for marketers to get their Video assets quickly and easily.
Project AE AI
Sometimes you would like to have a companion inside of After Effects that actually understands if something goes wrong, or that can execute small things for you.
Using an AI chatbot is great, but many inexperienced users might still run into problems when they don’t know where to use the output. This is why I created AE AI, a smart AI chatbot that is connected with Gemini, which has really smart prompts prewritten, and simple user input is parsed to the correct model with the correct prompt using advanced reasoning.
It can help you to write custom expressions, create actions, or simply answer a question if something isn’t working as expected.
